He is already working out how he will rearrange "the wall" where he has displayed his plaques, commendations and badge since he retired over 20 years ago. Nothing on this wall has been moved since it was first put up so we are really pleased that this gift will make it to such a place of honour in my parents' home. "Bonnie,  on behalf of the men and women of 405 Long-Range Patrol Squadron, we wanted to thank-you for accommodating our wishes in creating a dual-plate shadow box.  The plates themselves are beautiful, and having the Air Force insignia mounted alongside the Squadron emblem is a great touch, I'm sure others will want to follow suit when they see how wonderful it looks!  The Squadron membership presented the plates to our outgoing Commanding Officer, LCol JA Irvine, and we know that this memento of his tour as a CO will be proudly displayed for years to come.

"Bonnie, I woke up this morning and I received a knock at the door from Canada Post.  Thank you so very much, words do not describe what I have in my hands soon to be on my wall!  Bonnie, they are even more fantastic in person, you have outdone yourself.   I will be holding a special get together at my home this weekend to show off these works of art.  I will be ordering the Royal Canadian Regiment later this year from you as well.  I will also be sending out a special email to my military friends to come on over and see the high quality of work that is done, I can not say enough.  I do hope you will be able to get the UN Crest as well...

Just a note to let you know I received my plate yesterday and must say that both I and my wife are very, very happy. It  is in fact beautiful we didn't realize how nice it is. The pictures on the internet don't do it justice.  I'm amazed how you can do that. now we have something to show our friends what a keepsake it is. I can't wait for my son to see it. "I came across Bonnie's collectible via a friend, and I always kept it in mind. So when my husband, who was deployed at the time with our Forces, told me the terrible news we lost a soldier of whom he was close with, I knew Bonnie's art would be perfect. When I called her and told her what I would like and why, her response touched me. Within 24 hours I had the custom plate engraved with our fallen soldiers' name on my doorstep. And within another 24 hours it was in the families hands.

This weekend was my father's retirement from being in the military for 36 years.  When my husband and myself gave him the plate he was just so shocked.  He mentioned that he did not see anything like this before and so beautiful.  Usually, my father keeps his military items in his office in the basement, but he is putting the plate up in the living room.  Both my husband and myself thank you very much for the wonderful work on the plate.  I have been telling everyone that I know to purchase one from you!!!  Thanks."
